Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast runs from February 28 to March 11 on the Southern points of the Gold Coast. Adam Melling will be there to kick off his 2015 WSL CT season. Good luck Mello.

Update Feb 28th
The event kicked off today in pretty weak 2' - 3' waves. Mello surfed well but couldn't find a second good score in a very inconsistent heat. He surfs next in Ht 10 round 2 vs Toledo. 

Update Mar 11th
Mello smashed the waves he caught today but couldn't get past Toledo in the worst waves for a WCT in many years.

Surfest 2015 runs Feb 13th - 22nd at Newcastle. The iconic surfing festival, now in it's 30th year, combines WSL QS 6000 Mens and Womens, WSL Pro Junior Mens and Womens and the Sanbah Cadet Cup. Good luck to all the Le-Ba surfers in the event.

Update Feb 13th
A great start to Surfest today in 2' - 3' waves at Merewether for the Le-Ba groms. Zac Wightman, Sam Morgan, Mikey McDonagh, Luke Condon and Jake Snellgrove all progressed in the Hunter Business Boardriders Pro Junior. Steph Single and Cali McDonagh also went through to the next round in the Hunter Business Boardriders Pro Junior women’s 

Update Feb 17th
Stu continued his great form today with a comfortable heat win. He put together some solid scores to lead the heat and then unleashed something special. Stu nailed a huge full rota tail high frontside reverse into the northerly and scored the highest wave score of the event, a 9.23 . He surfs next in Ht 5 Round 3.

Update Feb 18th
The women hit the water today with Steph Single and Cali McDonagh both making it through their round 2 heats. Unfortunately they both were eliminated in round 3 in lumpy onshore conditions.

Stu couldn't find the waves today and was eliminated in round 3.

Hurley Australian Open WSL QS 6000 runs Feb 9th - 15th at Manly, Sydney. Adam Melling and Stu Kennedy will be there chasing the points after a great start to the year at Burleigh. Good luck fellas. Steph Single is competing in the womens event and starts in Round 3.

Update Feb 10th
Mello stuck to the rights in his round 2 heat but came up short and was eliminated in the small bumpy conditions. Stu surfs tomorrow. 

Update Feb 11th
A solid win today for Stu in small tricky waves. He surfs next in round 3 Ht .

Update Feb 12th
Stu was ripping today putting together a 16.17 total, posting a win and moving into round 4. Steph surfed great but was eliminated in a close heat.

Update Feb 13th
Stu outsurfed the wee Irishman today and booked a round 5 match up with Ace.

Update Feb 14th
Stu played it smart today, putting in a tradesman like performance to move into the Quarter finals and grab a keeper result at the start of the '15 season. He surfs on finals day in QF 3 vs Freddie P.

Update Feb 15th
Stu finished the event in 3rd today in 3' -4' onshore conditions. He took care of the Hawaiian in his Quarter final with some big turns and one huge full rota frontside air that was so close to perfect , he scored a 9.93. He had Andino for most of his Semi but was unlucky when the panel gave the American the score he needed for a pretty soft backhand air 180 flick . Stu will gain 3550 ratings points and starts his qualification campaign for '16 in a big way. Congratulations mate.
