2015 Oakley Lowers Pro WSL QS 10000 runs from April 28th - May 2nd at the famed cobblestone point-break of Lower Trestles in San Clemente. Stu Kennedy and Adam Melling will be there chasing ranking points for the 2016 WSL CT. Stu starts in heat 2 and Mello is in heat 18. Good luck fellas.

Update April 30th
Stu smashed his heat today executing multiple lightning fast powerful turns to rack up a 15.90 total in fun 3' waves. Mello will be in the first heat tomorrow.

Mello and Stu dominated their heats today with powerful precise surfing and both moved into the final 24.

Update May 2nd
Mello continued his great form in the event with a round of 24 heat win that included a 9.17 and the elimination of Slater. He surfs next in Ht 7 round of 16.
In the round of 24 Stu was ripping and had a big win eliminating Brett Simpson. In the round of 16 he wasn't on the best waves of the heat and went out in 9th. Stu collected 3700 points and another keeper for 2015 CT qualification. Well done mate.

Mello went down today in a really close round of 16 heat. He finished 9th with 3700  2015 requal points. Well done fellas and good luck in Brazil.

Billabong Oz Grom Cup 2015 runs April 13 - 18 at Coffs Harbour. A big contingent of Le-Ba groms are heading down for some holiday fun and a few waves. Good luck groms !

Update April 14th
After 2 days of great waves our groms have been ripping. In the 18's Luke Condon had an amazing start with a  19.50 heat total in round 1. Piggy followed up with a round 2 win , 2nd in round 3 and is into round 4. Jack Murray also had 3 exceptional rounds and is into round 4.
In the 16's Mikey McDonagh was blazing with 3 heat wins, including an 18.00 point total in round 1, to cruise into the quarters.

In the 14's Hunter Weston ripped his way into the 3rd round. Nyxie Ryan is into the quarters of the 14 Girls and will be the one to beat.
In the 12's Jack O'Brien, Dembe Ryan and Rino Lindsay have all smashed their heats and progressed into round 3.
In the 10's Harry O'Brien blazed his way into round 3.

Update April 21st
  In the U16's Mikey had a win in the Semis but had to settle for 3rd in the Final. In the U18's Jack Murray had a win in round 4 but went out in the Quarters finishing 9th. Nyxie finished 5th in the U14 Girls. In the U12's Jack O made it all the way to the Final and finished 4th, Dembe made the Quarters and finished 9th. In the U 10's Harry O finished 7th. Well done groms !

Drug Aware Margaret River Pro runs April 15-26 at Main Break Margaret River with The Box as back up. Adam Melling will be there chasing a big result at a venue he has excelled at over the years. He surfs in round 1 with Parko and Andino. The initial XL swell forecast has been downgraded but there is plenty of solid waves on the way. Three swells are lined up back to back and day 1 could see the swell building to 10' during the day. Read the lastest forecast here. Good luck Mello and make sure you have all 3 fins before the paddle out mate.

Update April 15th
Mello had a solid dig today in massive unruly conditions at Main Break but Parko found the better waves. Adam surfs again in round 2. 

Update April 16th
Adam hooked into some deep pits at The Box today and took the win over Bede. 

Update April 17th
Mello was back out at The Box again today in really solid conditions. Adam charged hard against JJF but things didn't quite go his way. He took off on plenty of sick waves but one huge gnarly bomb smashed him so badly that it has been called the worst wipeout of the event. Mello showed everyone today that he is a tough bugger and not afraid of putting it all on the line. Well done mate.
